We know the value of a Facebook fan

Have you ever wondered what the value to your fans really is? Synapse and Hotspex have found the exact value. Their study examined 20 brands, most of which have over 15 million fans. The result is the average value of a fan, which is $ 174.17, an increase of 28% since 2010.

The researchers quantified the value of fans based on the following criteria:

  1. Product spending
  2. Loyalty
  3. Propensity to recommend
  4. Media value
  5. The cost of acquiring a fan
  6. Affinity to the brand

The study supported the finding which concerned many companies: Social media and the information derived from them must be the center of the overall marketing strategy. There are answers to key marketing issues due to the large amount of quality information. At the same time, there are effective tools for their use.
